Why does Karen's program open the installer or setup program for a another program like AutoCAD or Office?

Karen's software asks Windows a question that is answered by the Microsoft installer. If the installer has an unfinished job, then that job is launched again.

How to Fix

Launch the installer for the program and choose Repair. For instance, you could choose Uninstall for the program, or find it in Add/Remove Programs in Setup.
